Nokia today announced the launch of the Nokia-N-Gage mobile games service which includes more games and compatible mobile phones and online oppurtinities than previously included. Starting today, compatible Nokia mobile phone owners can search, find and buy high-quality games which are made for mobile handsets. Also there is a community for N-Gage users which is called N-Gage Arena so that you can meet friends and play some games in multiplayer mode. Apart from these you can discuss live topics, participate in tournaments and events that are held by Nokia N-Gage community.
The N-Gage platform has very popular games, and these games are the most graphically rich mobile games ever produced. There are many game genre including strategy, sport, arcade and action. All these games are developed specifically for N-Gage. EA SPORTS(TM) FIFA 08 by EA Mobile; Brain Challenge and Asphalt 3: Street Rules by Gameloft; World Series of Poker (TM) Pro Challenge by Glu Mobile; and Hooked On: Creatures of the Deep and System Rush: Evolution by Nokia Publishing are among the first developed games to come by leading game developers. Tetris® and The Sims(TM) 2 Pets by EA Mobile; Block Breaker Deluxe and Dogz by Gameloft; and Snakes Subsonic, Space Impact: Kappa Base and Mile High Pinball by Nokia Publishing will be following the first set of games developed. Today is the first day that N-Gage lovers are able to access many high-quality games, and most of these games are only special for N-Gage platform.
The new N-Gage application has some nice extra features. When you load the application to your mobile phone, you can create your own Friends List, and contact with them via private messages, and also instant message them as well. Also you will be able to earn N-Gage Points by playing games and joining community events. Also there is a N-Gage web portal in which you can interact wiht other players in the community, and buy new N-Gage games and also download them using your compatible mobile devices.
Some N-Gage compatible phones in the market are Nokia N81, Nokia N81 8GB, Nokia N82, Nokia N95, and Nokia N95 8GB and hopefully more compatible phones to come.
First mobile phone with N-Gage First Access was the Nokia N81 for some feedback on the service. Nokia states that many people spent their valuable time to test the service and shared ther comments. Finally today, the service is offered to much wider mobile phone owners that are willing to play high quality games using their mobile phones. Nokia also plans to add new games and develop the technology together with evolving mobile technology for game lovers to enjoy the same quality in their mobile devices as well.

Price for the games range between 6-10 euros but you can also enjoy a free trial before you buy them.
