Two new mobile phones by Nokia are announced today for music lovers. First one is the Nokia 5320 XpressMusic which is a S60 UI Symbian operated smartphone, and the latter is the Nokia 5220 XpressMusic which is a asymmetrically designed S40 interfaced mobile phone.
Other than the great features of the Nokia 5320 XpressMusic as a music centered phone, it is a 3G/HSDPA enabled mobile smartphone. It has great external music controls, stereo FM radio, 3.5mm Standard audio jack and stereo A2DP Bluetooth. Also this time dedicated audio chip is included in the package to enhance audio quality.
There is also a microSD memory card slot that allows to store music up to 8GB, also we are informed that 1GB card is included in the retail package. Also there is special application which is the newest among XpressMusic phones, Nokia Say and Play application so that you can remote your music player using your voice.There are also plenty of nice mobile gaming features in the Nokia 5320 XpressMusic. It has 8-way navigational D-pad for N-Gage quality gaming and also you will be able to play games on the landscape mode that means 2” 16M color display with QVGA resolution.
Other features include microUSB connection, 2 megapixel camera without auto focus and some other online services which are supported with preinstallation. These services include Macromedia Flash Lite 3.0, Windows Live, Flickr, Yahoo Messenger and Yahoo Go!. Furthermore there is SMS reader application which reads your SMS in audio mode.
Some color options for the Nokia 5320 XpressMusic are black and blue or black and red which were same as older XpressMusic versions. It is expected to be on mobile phone markets in Q3 2008 and its price will be 220 euro before taxes and additional subsidies.
On the other hand the Nokia 5220 XpressMusic is not a smartphone but still it has unique thickness of only 10.5mm with a asymmetrical bar-shape.
Among its music features, the Nokia 5220 XpressMusic has special music keys, light effects in correlance with music rythm, stereo A2DP Bluetooth, 3,5mm audio jack, microSD memory card slot up to 2GB, stereo FM radio with RDS, and 24 hours of promised continuous playback time with single charge. Also nonmusical features of the Nokia 5220 XpressMusic are 2 megapixel camera, microUSB port, 2” QVGA 262K color TFT display, organic wallpaper that is dynamic throughout the day, Opera Mini Web browser, support for Macromedia Adobe Flash, Yahoo!Go and Yahoo!Ready.
Other features of the Nokia 5220 XpressMusic include a 2 megapixel snapper, a 2-inch QVGA 262K color TFT display, and a microUSB port. With the Nokia 5220 will come with an organic wallpaper that changes actively throughout the day, Opera Mini web browser, Yahoo! Go and Yahoo! Ready and support for Macromedia Adobe Flash (think YouTube!).The Nokia 5220 XpressMusic is expected to be on market from Q3 2008 f b its price is expected to be 160 euro before taxes.
